This makes it more convenient to run tests with builds that disable
TKIP/WPA(v1) support completely.

WEP should not be used for anything anymore. As a step towards removing
it completely, move all WEP related functionality to be within
CONFIG_WEP blocks. This will be included in builds only if CONFIG_WEP=y
is explicitly set in build configuration.

There was a race condition on starting the flush_scan_cache() operations
if a scan happened to be in progress when the test case ended since the
ABORT_SCAN success case did not wait for the pending scan operation to
be completed. Wait for the scan completion event in addition to the
disconnection event if the ABORT_SCAN command is accepted.

These TDLS test cases missed Popen() result decode() calls in the
earlier python3 compatibility changes. Add those to make debug log more
readable.

The ap_open_tdls_vht* test cases could leave some pending regulatory
Beacon hints waiting to be cleared during the following test case. This
would result in a failure if the following test case expected specific
regdom event behavior. For example, this caused "ap_open_tdls_vht160
dbus_country" sequence to result in failure in dbus_country. Fix this by
using more robust sequence in clearing regdom state at the end of the
TDLS test cases that have the AP advertising a country code.

One TDLS test case was using wlantest without doing the setup first.
This makes the test not work on real hardware. Fix the issue by adding
the wlantest setup to the test.

Some TDLS and WPS test cases reference the hapd variable in the finally
block even if the test failed before assigning the value to this
variable. This makes the code in the finally block to fail on
referencing this variable. Assign None to the hapd variable before
starting the tests to avoid this.

Use a monitor interface given in the command line that is not also a
station or an AP as a monitor running wlantest on the channel used by
the test. This makes all the tests that use wlantest available for
execution on real hardware on remote hosts.

Pass the full apdev to the add_ap() function instead of just ifname.
This allows us to handle also remote hosts while we can check
apdev['hostname'], apdev['port'].
This step (5) converts the cases that use the start_ap_wpa2_psk() helper
function.

Verify correct behavior with invalid commands. In addition, allow minor
mac80211_hwsim modifications to be used to enable testing of the driver

External tool is not needed anymore to run the data connectivity tests
since hostapd test mode now allows the possible bridge or VLAN interface
to be specified.

This reverts commit bf700cc3d2. The
concurrent initialization test case is now expected to work again with
the STA entry added early enough to avoid the recently added mac80211
validation step failure.

Older mac80211 implementations did not set the link identifier
appropriately, resulting in an incorrect teardown packet being sent the
peer. wpa_supplicant adds the FTE containing the MIC field calculated
using the correct link-identifier. This causes a MIC failure on the
other side and the teardown is discarded. Verify this case is fixed by
newer kernel and wpa_supplicant code.

A mac80211 TDLS validation change ended up breaking test functionality
that was needed for this test case. Instead of reporting this known
issue as a FAIL every time, mark the test as SKIP since the issues is
known and there are no plans of "fixing" it.

A full scan in these specific test cases does not add anything to the
coverage, so use a single channel scan for the station connection to
remove undesired extra time needed for a full scan.

Instead, debug output is directed to a separate file <test>.log for each
test case.
